Dating back from 1895 this splendid building is wonderfully situated in a dominant position boasting spectacular views of the mountains of the Jungfrau region; the Lauterbrunnen valley with its impressive waterfalls and the village of Wengen. In 2004 the Victorian 4 star Hotel was honoured as a Swiss Heritage site. The hotel offers rooms with a balcony or terrace and a unique view of the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen valley. The rooms are equipped with bath and WC or shower and WC; hairdryer; radio; TV and a direct dial telephone. The whole hotel has a Public Wireless LAN plant and also an Internet corner available for guests. The nearest parking at a charge is in Lauterbrunnen and from there you have to take the train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen which takes around 15 minutes.
